Dental Fillings

Paediatric Fillings

Fillings for children to prevent further decay and ensure great, future oral health.

FILLINGS FOR CHILDREN

Cavities in your child’s teeth can cause sleepless nights for the whole family and if not treated properly it could lead to extreme decay and tooth loss. Good dental care is imperative to ensure your little one has healthy teeth and gums, but sometimes cavities manage to creep in. These tiny holes are painful and with the help of our specially trained paediatric dentist we’ll ensure we clean the cavity and fill it up with composite resin to prevent further decay.

Seeing a dentist can also be a bit scary for children and our experienced dentist will make them feel comfortable and as safe as possible, while working quickly and effectively to complete a successful procedure. They will also check and discern whether there are other issues around your child’s oral health and provide the necessary guidance to ensure you keep their tiny teeth healthy, happy and shiny.

Once numbed we’ll remove all the bacteria and present decay from the cavity and thoroughly disinfect it. Lastly we’ll apply the composite material (filling) into the sterilised dental cavity and allow it to harden.
