Digital Smile Design
We use state of the art digital technology and videography to help you visualize the results of planned treatments as we design and create your perfect smile.
DIGITAL SMILE DESIGN
Digital Smile Design is a technologically-advanced, digital way to visually show patients the impact that dental and surgical aesthetic improvements can have on their smile.
There is a myriad of factors that specialists need to asses before they can create that perfect smile. Making use of Digital Smile Design is an immensely useful procedure to align the patient’s expectations with the dentistry team, surgical team and potential range of specialists as they work synergistically towards the same objectives; planning and applying a treatment plan with efficiency and maximum results.
Not only will they assess your teeth, but they will spend time to discern how best to address the concerns you have around your mouth while looking at the balance, position and symmetry of your lips. They’ll assess the amount of teeth displayed, the angles and positioning to the rest of the face and factors like the impact of gum positioning on the overall smile.
At SCINmed we have a team of Aesthetic Surgeons, Dental Surgeons and doctors who can all work together to design a smile you are proud of.

The X-ray technology is only used in extreme cases where complex reconstructions are planned.
You don’t want a completely perfect mouth as this will appear unnatural. The team will make subtle changes in their design plan by tweaking the length of your smile, the proportions, the alignment and other factors to create a natural smile that fits your face.
We need to discuss all your concerns, review your medical history and gather all the digital data required. Generally, this takes just over an hour.
