EYE WRINKLES
Our eyes rest in a space called the periorbital hollow, where the skin is extremely thin and sensitive. The skin under the eyes is more likely to show fine lines and wrinkles when compared to skin on other places of the body. Due to the aging process and other factors such as facial expressions, lack of sleep, smoking and UV (sun) exposure, the under-eye skin, with it being so thin, can lose elasticity and structure quickly, causing fine lines and wrinkles to form in the area.
